In some circles, discussions about work life balance have shifted to talking about work life integration. Whatever you call it, many people are searching for a way to juggle their personal and professional roles.

More than half of all employees and entrepreneurs say that job demands sometimes interfere with their personal responsibilities, according to a study by the American Psychological Association. Try these suggestions to help you meet your daily challenges.

Guiding Principles

1. Make your own decisions. Everyone’s definition of success looks different. Focus on what makes you happy and productive. Consider whether you and others may be projecting your own assumptions when you comment on someone else’s lifestyle.

2. Consider your boundaries. Some professionals find it disruptive to take business calls after office hours. Others feel stressed if they’re out of touch for any long interval. If possible, negotiate an arrangement with your employer that is comfortable for both of you.

3. Think long term. There are always trade-offs. Assess whether frequent overtime or spending more hours with your family will make you happier when you look back on what you did with your life.

4. Update your plans. Your answers may change as you go through life. Check in frequently to stay on track. You may be eager to gain new experiences when you first graduate from school. As you approach retirement, you may want to volunteer more in your community.

5. Give yourself credit. It’s common to feel guilty about working too little or too much. Focus on doing the best you can. Guilt is a wasted feeling. Think and be proactive not reactive.

6. Remain flexible. Financial constraints and other factors may influence your decisions. Work with whatever circumstances you face while you try to improve them.

Time Management

1. Be realistic. Establish your top priorities and stick to them. If you’re struggling with your to do list each day, you probably need to cut back on the less important tasks.

2. Get organized. You can accomplish more when you have solid systems in place. Look for ways to run your errands more efficiently and keep your surroundings free of clutter.

3. Limit distractions. Maybe you lose track of time watching TV or talking on the phone. Reclaim those wasted hours.

4. Schedule downtime. Your mind and body need adequate rest. Take a warm bath or meditate daily.

Additional Suggestions

1. Recognize individual differences. Some people are content viewing their job as just a paycheck, and others blend their paid work with the rest of their life. Any combination is okay as long as you find fulfillment.

2. Ask for support. Help from family and friends or paid services can help you to focus on your strongest areas. Ask your children to take on more chores or consider hiring a house cleaner. Use the extra free time to pursue a promotion or start a vegetable garden.

3. Reach out to others. Look for ways you can provide the same kind of assistance to those around you. Team up with a coworker so you can cover each other’s work on sick days or vacations rather than creating a backlog for when you return.

4. Take care of yourself. Keeping yourself fit enables you to contribute at home and at the office. Eat a nutritious diet, exercise regularly, manage stress, and stick to a regular sleep schedule.

5. Be yourself at work. As much as possible, reveal your authentic self at work. It will liberate others to do the same. You’ll also be more likely to form true friendships with your colleagues, which will make your days more pleasant.

It’s a big job to coordinate all the facets of your life. Think about your definition of success and what it means for how you align your personal and professional responsibilities.

A life best lived is a life by design. When you start giving your life dimension, color, objectives, purpose and strategies the results can be absolutely epic. Today I share this with you knowing we have choices. The choice to be happy, the choice to share our gifts and the choice to live in freedom based on the thoughts we think, the feelings we feel and the actions prompted by the process of choice.

Several years ago I walked away from a six-figure career to save my own life. The work schedule and goals in my corporate career was literally killing me. Between no sleep, driving or flying constantly, never home to enjoy family or community events, working 60 -hour workweeks and meeting huge million dollar goals quarterly. One fateful day when my company car malfunctioned on the freeway in LA, with no power steering or brakes, life was literally falling apart in seconds. It was this life altering experience that everything came into focus. I call this my rude-awakening. This jolted me out of my denial of feeling unfulfilled, uninspired and fatigued into feeling alive, courageous and motivated. Those split seconds I realized that I wanted to live a deeper more authentic and joyful life and create a life around a career versus the old wage slave paradigm that I believed looked like happiness and success.

The beautiful sacred truth, – that I have a choice about how I experience my life – filled my heart with hope and forever changed the trajectory of my life. Today it fuels my life as an Author, Lifestyle and Business Strategist and Motivational Speaker, where I am dedicated to inspiring professionals, especially women, toward redefining her happiness and success and make the most powerful choices for the greatest impact in freedom, income and passion for life. Everyday at every moment we have the ability to be our own happiness hero. Even in the midst of darkness, when everything is falling apart, you have the power of choice. Every so often we each require a nudge or reminder that we are powerful, talented, amazing, worthy and loveable enough to create our life and ourselves based on what your soul is calling.

When you’re feeling ready, follow the steps of deliberate creation and enjoy the power of the process in which you are immersed. There are no weird coincidences. What is meant to be always happens — and you have the power to deliberately create an ideal outcome. Your success is indicated by the power of your will to overcome obstacles with the narrowing down of the areas of interest. Based on focused intention, we often lose focus on less important areas so as to focus intently on the one.

The more we recognize that we are each responsible for our own happiness, the closer we are to seeing that our happiness powers the path to improved relationships, careers, finances, and health, as well as assists with other issues and areas of life.

 

To recognize how powerful your happiness can be, we simply need to adopt a new mindset by activating the following steps:

Follow Your JOY – It may not feel like it, but your joy exists within you and it is a clear path to what your heart truly desires. When you are listening and acting upon your joy, your ego does not communicate “I can’t, shoulda, woulda,” thoughts and destructive self-talk excuses behind your feelings of unworthiness. These feelings become non-existent when you place zero energy behind your ego thoughts. When you “Just Own Yourself (JOY),” you become the CEO of YOU and fall in love with expressing your MOXIE.

Ignite Imagination – Give yourself permission to imagine what your life looks and feels like beyond what it is now. It’s ok — even great — to daydream. Just BE and ALLOW yourself to have some fun with your own psyche. By doing so, you unlock the keys to the treasure within and let go of any obstacles standing in your way. Imagine the emotional or physical pain you have been suffering with is now part of your past, and no longer exists. Even if this is just a brief respite that lasts a few minutes, it is a relief to your mind and body that you can feel good and pain free, one step at a time. You are being guided by your imagination when you begin to feel and recognize the endless possibilities within and around your world.

Deliberate Creation – This is the conscious, intentional focus of marrying your desired intention with vision, and strategically acting in your external world where you co-create with Spirit to manifest an outcome. As you collaborate with your inner creator by putting action behind positive intent and matching your positive feeling with positive action, you become an unstoppable magnet for the continuous flow of positive change.

Creativity: is a component of the life force for all that we do. Your ability to create remains infinite through choice. From the moment you rise in the morning, you create your thoughts, your day, how you present yourself to the world and the quality of your life. Decision making is the number-one trait that supports being the champion of your life. When you choose to tap into the positive life forces within, you intensify your vibration and become a force of power beyond your imagination.

Have a Cup of Courage – Your dream is usually outside of your comfort zone. It takes courage to walk a new path you have not navigated before. Have a cup of courage a day. Sip-by-sip, your vision is sharper and your dream becomes attainable. Courage is a more productive avenue when you reverse the energies of your fear.

Practice a Growth Mindset – This is the ability to deliberately change an old perspective with a new, positive action. Action creates change, movement creates truth. Choosing happiness every day in today’s complex world is not just a choice; it’s a lifestyle. By re- training the brain, you can develop this new power practice. Decades of research relate the choice toward happiness to improving your health, increasing blood flow to the brain, and encouraging an enhanced ability to make decisions. When your mind and body feel good, you become spiritually in sync with your divine purpose, and your life becomes more meaningful and authentic.

Employ Creative Tools – These tools become the catalyst for making change here and now. Many people believe that change occurs with our thoughts alone. However, change may not happen even after years of psychotherapy and insightful epiphanies — although you may end up with more clarity and focus about where you are today in relation to your past. What encourages change, here and now, are tools that propel you into your future rather than analyze your past. A tool may be meditation, hiring a coach or researching a topic that piques your interest.

Reinvent an Authentic Self – The path to reinvention is a straight one from head to heart although it may be long and arduous. As you become your ultimate other or higher self, the spiritual spark that keeps you on track with your life’s purpose and in touch with your joy and passion – listening to our truth while simultaneously acting upon it may seem like peeling an onion while holding back the tears. Saying good-bye to your ego is a process of letting go of superficial attachments or illusions. Most will only dig when they know there is pure gold; you must be willing to do the work since that gold lies within your heart. Through thoughtful diligence, you can then continue on the route to happiness because the gold has revealed your authentic power. When we live in our truth, we can change the world in fascinating and magnanimous ways.

Why Not have a little fun, it’s summer and usually the best way to change your mindset and Get Happy is by giving yourself permission!

I read an article the other day, that one of the reasons why American’s are unhappy, is because we feel confined in our choices. Stress often leads to feeling confined and boxed in where our personality can lean toward old habits, default modes and the good ole comfort zone. Resulting in a feeling of “stuck” in our jobs, finances, health and community.

Allow me to give you the crayon within your mind to color outside the lines and throw out the “confining” box! It’s time for you to play, imagine, feel good and think positive! Truly it is your time to shine. So here are a few ways to do that…

– Give yourself permission with knowing you deserve happiness and get to choose it when ever you want!

– Give yourself permission, to dance, laugh, get the blood flowing in your veins and just ALLOW.

– Give yourself permission to wear whatever you want or even nothing at all, oops. Point being, get comfortable in your own skin, take a bubble bath, relax and get in the water, it washes away the cobwebs of the mind and cleanses the old for the new to come in.

– Give yourself permission to visualize what your heart desires. Imagine it happening, right now, close your eyes and see this happy event taking place in your life. Yes, YOU! It can happen for you. So many people believe good only happens to others but not them. Guess what, you’re up, it’s your turn this time for good and great things to take form and happen. You are more than you ever imagined!! Just give yourself permission, it works!

– Give yourself permission to just stop. Stop the old thinking and self- doubt. This dampens your spirit. We need your spirit, your spirit is here to help others with your talent and your gifts. Don’t deny yourself or others of what you have to offer because when you do, it smothers your joy. Change things up and go IN- JOY!

Welcome to the first week of Spring! Spring brings new growth. A chance to weed out the bad and make room for something beautiful. Can you visualize what that would be for you?

With this fresh new energy, where would you like to be in your health, career, finances, home life, relationships and flow of everyday life? Write it down.

Think about what makes you unique. Your wisdom, personality, life experience, strengths, background, even major life transformations are key ingredients that comprise your natural abilities, namely your gifts. I call this your genius zone.

Chances are if you are reading this, you know you require some kind of change in your life, but you may not be sure what that looks like? It is perfectly natural to feel stuck in life and it is also important for you to recognize that you will soon feel unstuck. Here are 4 steps how:

1. Feel Free to be YOU–   seems simple, yet many questions, who we are, where we are going and how to get there?  It’s ok to feel this way as the only constant in life is change. When you resist change and dig your heels in you  are basically  blocking the Universe from welcoming you into newness.  By being open, one must think positively and believe in yourself. Your comfort zone is no longer working for you, so it simply is time to move on. Newness feels good, try it, jump in, the water is warm! This is what the Universe is promoting your consciousness to do! Feel free to be you and experience something new, as the core of who you are is simply love. Feel the love, affection and belief in self, you will attract this in return and who knows what good will materialize.

2. What inspires YOU? – Think through what turns you ON, makes you feel good from the inside out. If you lost that spark, the groove which prompts you with feeling alive, chances are  you stopped doing what inspires you? Instead of relying on the excuses of why you put your inspirations on the back burner, you made a choice to get lost in your “stuff”, the yuck going on in your head, external world and or life circumstances. That’s OK, simply do what inspires you and capture your groove and flow, it’s in the action that movement forms, it’s inaction that creates doubt.

Science tells us that we as humans have 50% ability to create our own happiness. This is the power of choice, choose differently, right now, to celebrate what inspires you! Perhaps it is writing, painting, water skiing, cooking, gardening, yoga, meditation? You are the master of your domain, jump on the inspiration highway and get moving!!

3. Stop Worrying – you have made it through confusing times before and you will get through whatever is happening now. Feel confident in knowing your miracle is right around the corner and a breakthrough is on its way. Everything is happening in divine order, be patient, a positive solution will take place. Turn your worry into gratitude, focus on what you are grateful for in this moment, by doing so, you create a shift within and life starts to look better than what you want to believe. Think of three things you are grateful for right now, write them down and place them in an area where you see it often.

4. Take advantage of your Life Force –  we are all given a life force, an energy that allows for our own abilities to manifest and create whatever it is we desire. Many of us take advantage of our life force by ignoring it because it’s free. If you had to pay for your life force, chances are you would not be able to afford it because it is priceless. Your life force contains you ability to; imagine, visualize, positive thoughts, creative energy, and internal ambition. The ego plays games with this force because as adults we use those programmed defense mechanisms, such as denial, projection, undoing, which block our life force. Placing us in a stand still or “I can’t do it”, “don’t know how”, “it will never work” thought process. Your life force is a natural stream of what is possible. Be open to the possibilities and tap into your life force. Try this simple process, then work backward; Visualize, create, strategize, connect and celebrate. Visualize your what’s next, place your intuition into a creative form, choose a mentor to strategize the sweet spot for making this happen for you into actionable steps, connect with the Universe  and celebrate the possibilities and breakthroughs!

2016Here we are approaching the New Year of 2016.

Dear Friends,

As the holidays wind down, it is natural to do just that, relax and enjoy some time off. Of course, as one does so, you can’t help but think about your future. As I ponder this past year and focus upon what I would like to change in my life toward sustainable well being, honesty steps in. I realize the ultimate choice is the one that we take for granted because it is free, and this is our happiness.

An amazing thing happens when you become honest with yourself, start doing what you love and what makes you happy. Life slows down; you enjoy the little things and recognize the smells around you that bring up good feelings inside, like the smell of homemade bread. Life literally slows down and you stop wishing for the weekends. Life slows down to where you appreciate the moment and begin to feel like a human being, not a human doing. A feeling of contentment, calm and joy flows and therefore life flows, like the natural movement of the waves of the ocean. You move fluidly, calmly and grateful. A veil is lifted and a new perspective is born. When you become clear, your happiness leads to a success beyond what you can imagine. An occurrence manifests when you sit in silence and determine what gives you pleasure and meaning. The pleasure of a baby smiling, the meaning it has of unconditional love. The pleasure of helping another because you can with no expected outcome giving the meaning of kindness. The pleasure of mentoring another with your wisdom offers meaning of fostering a future for our children and their children.

When honesty persists, we have the power to be persistent and no longer take happiness and freedom for granted. When you capture the feeling of your happiness you will feel the ultimate choice of painting your life’s canvas, and this will lead to you happiest year ever!

In closing, it is your time to shine, be bold, be brave, and be YOU!

When you look at the wealthiest, most successful business minds to date, they all seem do one thing that lend to their success and happiness, which is the practice of getting out of the head and into the heart. From Oprah to Richard Branson, their mission, message and actions are all in harmony to an initial intent that stemmed from their personal identity, intuition and essence.

 

To think and grow rich one must take note from author Napoleon Hill “our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds.” Therefore, the best choices are those made consciously. But there comes a time where you have to decide if you are growing personally and fumbling professionally or vice versa? The only constant in life is change, and it is easy to get lost in the sea of “to do’s” and lose your essence along the way. Perhaps it’s time to re-sync and get back down to the business of your happiness.

  1. Busyness is a Choice – You can choose what you want your work life to be, it can be stressful or playful? By placing meaning behind all that you do, keeps work interesting and inspiring. Meaningfulness in what you do is fulfilling. When you are fulfilled you are productive and when you are productive you are happier because your purpose in helping and serving others is wanted. People who are happy in what they do are 12% more productive than disengaged employee’s, according to a 2015 Gallup poll. How can you find meaningfulness in your business? Tip: Stop doing things that don’t matter and start using your time to work on your dreams.

 

  1. Ride One Horse – when one idea is structured and organized into a unique branding system, focused on the right customer in the right frequency, you are set up for success. By organizing now, you can set it and forget it and then move on to the next brilliant idea. You will feel much more powerful, accomplished and at peace knowing all systems are go. As a result this lends to your freedom in structure, not just in work but also in your home, financial and personal life, as well.

Tip: Preserve your “me time” and family life for the weekends to nurture your precious happiness seed. Being successful when it costs personal sacrifice is an old paradigm and only leads to stress.

 

  1. Guiltless Autonomy – what we do and why we do it is far more important than hours worked. Discover ways to boost your mood and enhance your day when working those long hours or tough projects. Give yourself breathers that you look forward to, such as, a yummy lunch outdoors, yoga stretching to your favorite tunes for 15 minutes or a coffee break or two. Taking breathers acts as a restoration, reducing stressors and greater feelings of calm and well- being.

Tip: Map out your day the night before and tackle the tough stuff earlier in the day, this allows for the moments of autonomy to be appreciated. You will shine ever so brightly when you allow for mental, emotional and physical breaks throughout the workday.

  1. Be Positive to Stay Powerful – stress seems more common than not in the 21st Naturally, it is how we respond to it that sets the course for long – term health and happiness. The happiest and most successful people have a morning ritual that sets the intention and feeling for the rest of the day. In other words, do you get up in the morning, thinking what can I create, versus what is stopping me? To prevent negativity from leaking into the psyche entails a proactive ritual to instantly snap your self into positivity where you continue to move into creativity to stay powerful as soon as you rise in the morning. Rituals condition you toward pleasure or pain. If you are experiencing pain, it’s time to change your ritual. Perhaps visualization, gratitude prayer, a jump in the pool or hot shower is a form of a ritual that works for you?

Tip: A powerful ritual entails a physiological affect on the nervous system, such as exercise. Exercise not only stimulates the brain and nervous system, it increases endorphins, the feel good hormone, which is why you feel good after a workout. Lastly, write out positive declarations, even if they have not happened yet. Read them out loud everyday. The more you hear your positive declarations the more you believe them and the closer you are to becoming and achieving those declarations.

  1. Marry Your Passion not Your Title – it is about the journey, not the destination. No matter if you are a CEO, doctor, lawyer or life coach, being too connected to our titles eludes the passion we strived to accomplish, which is to ease the pain of those we serve through the practice of compassion. It is common to lose steam in your work, which can leak into other areas of your life. Being 80% of our time is doing work, make sure you remain creative and innovative; this keeps your inspiration and excitement high and releases the “musts”, “have to’s”, and “urgencies”. Can you keep the faith to attract what you expect? If you expect that you will not meet your sales goal, then you won’t. If you expect not to get that promotion, you probably won’t get the promotion. Which is why you must increase your expectations to reach your dreams.

Tip: Elevate your faith and believe in unwavering expectation what is meant for you and feel passionate about it! Most great work evolves in the most unexpected manner. Why is that? Because you are a far greater person than you ever dreamed yourself to be. This has nothing to do with relying on a title to define or confine you and has more to do with your essence, passion and power, where your dormant forces come alive. Thus, discouragement and ego does not exist when aligned with your passion.

You can create a kick-butt life at any age. After all, age is just a number. No matter what stage in life you are in, whether you just graduated college, a new mom, in transition, re-building, reinventing, empty nesting , coming out of retirement, divorce or caregiving, you have the capacity to express your uniqueness no matter how old you are. There is opportunity for you to get busy and create what you believe or be an ingredient toward a happy accident, as this is where creativity meets opportunity. You never know what life may throw your way , stuff happens and can lead you into a totally new direction, has that  ever happened to you? Well, it happened to me, when my company car reeled out of control one fateful day and slowly stopped in front of two eight -foot Buddha statues outside a furniture store. This was the Universe awakening and re-directing me to my hopes, dreams and inspirations which I put on hold for too long. In fact, had this not happened, I would not have written a bestseller book or mentally, spiritually and emotionally met up with my truth and claimed the burning desire that has led to my inner happiness. What may appear as a wall could actually be an invitation for you to gather your strength and jump over it! Inspiration is the fuel that ignites the fire within, once you tap into it, become unafraid of it, you become unstoppable. Get Happy at any Age Inspiration Challenge

Here we are 6 months into the year, time has flown by and it may be time to ask yourself; What do I want? And how I am going to do it? Let’s drill down a bit and really get into the heart of the matter. Write down what gives you meaning on one side of a piece of paper and on the other side what gives you pleasure. Circle the ones that really make you excited and what you yearn for, right now. On a second piece of paper write out all the circled words and notice all your desires sit at the corner of meaning and pleasure which is the pathway to your happiness. And guess what? It has nothing to do with how old you are!

My challenge to you, between now and October  is to mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually align with doing what makes your soul happy. And I invite you to join me on my happiness and well-being journey while I begin to celebrate turning the age of 50! I can hardly believe it, myself. However, I feel 27  and am just getting started on my dreams and inspirations.  Feeling young and having never felt better , I am often mistaken for age 37. So, why is that? Because I AM HAPPY and incorporate a no matter what attitude. Part of this invitation is to learn the top secrets to feeling young, feeling better and gaining energy, so don’t hesitate.

Change can leave you or people you know, feeling alone and scattered. The good news is everything happens in an order of divine timing. The re-calibration taking place in the world represents a time of change for all of us. Change can be good but also scary, especially if it was brought upon you, hence stress occurs. A powerful way to break an old cycle or stress is by making a change as this can transform your life for the better. But, the most powerful and biggest secret to being proactive and transform your life is through the use of your imagination. (STEP 1)

Step 2 – Your attitude about change may need to be adjusted so try to be open to making change, this is an opportunity of personal growth and expansion of self to go beyond your limits, take courageous steps and dare to dream! Smart people like yourself have choices by being proactive versus reactive. What are you doing that is proactively occurring to get you in alignment and closer to your desires as opposed to your fears?

STEP 3 – Following a path with heart resembles freedom and authenticity. While following a path of head or ego depicts what you”should” be doing. Eventually leading to resentment or even a personal rut. As we enter Spring , the time of renewal, why not activate the use of your imagination? Imagining or daydreaming offers you the power to tap into your authentic power and successfully blossom while reinventing self on a path of heart. When you utilize proactive nudges, intentional exercises and support mantras, you will gain the confidence toward choosing happiness and begin to crystallize your strengths simultaneously. As you know your thoughts are a leading source of your reality. Perhaps you have tried various methods to manifest your goals but have experienced familiar blocks of resistance. In most cases, you deferred to default mode and a familiar cycle was calling you back, hence leading you to the same or similar spot as before.

As a master with experiencing reinvention of self, more times than I care to explain, I have discovered that it is usually the blocks that are pushing you toward elevating to a higher self and level of consciousness. It’s a practice to reprogram stale thought patterns that no longer serve you, ( STEP 4)yet that is just the beginning. However, when you zone in on new and simple techniques the expansion of your mind is encouraged and bursting with endless possibilities.

To become clear in a time of confusion , chaos or crisis, you must breathe and become zentered. You cannot imagine or manifest when you are operating in fear. Remember, whatever you are experiencing, is temporary. What lies ahead, has already occurred, it’s just waiting to be tapped into by the process of your imagination. You have the power to transform your day, hour, week and year through thoughts, imagination, creation and action. This four step process can propel you in more ways than you realize, it just takes a cup of courage , in knowing that it is your time to SHINE!

running in heels Are you a woman running heals, frantic to figure out your time with career, money, family and social life but end up not doing anything at all to resolve this feeling of disarray? Well, join the club! Each and every one of us has been there. I coin this as “women running in heels”, as we tend to do it all, want it all, try to make it ALL happen and end up stressed and simply exhausted. This was me some 2 years ago, giving, giving , giving to others with barely enough time to renew myself or adjust to a life worth creating, without falling short on quality people time, sleep and a life outside of my career!   According to the American Psychological Association stress gender survey, stress has been significantly more on the rise for women than men. Almost half of women surveyed (49%) reported a rise in stress over the past five years. We , as women, are all too willing to please others holding a false belief that if we handle it all, then life will be easier by doing it ourselves versus delegating the details to someone else.   So how is that working for you?

The bottomline is,  life  is running YOU, instead of YOU creating the life that you desire and deserve.  So, what do you really want or better yet, what do you want to get out of life, right now? The one constant that we can never capture again is our time.  Perhaps it’s time to just STOP  the crazy life treadmill and determine what feels right versus what is wrong? Step back and begin to get clear and envision your happiness , as this will attract the abundance, joy and desire you deserve! I learned this the hard way with a come to Buddha moment, where my company car almost crashed from going out of control and landed in front of two eight foot Buddha statues outside a furniture store in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. Talk about a wake up call to the antithesis of my chaotic life careening me to the edge of no return.  I certainly would not want this to happen to you. However, in hindsight what I learned was the best choices are the one’s we make consciously, not from reactive measures or societal demands. We are human and the Universe has a funny way of  journeying back to self  to  determine if we are practicing self – love and self – care.

My story , as a woman running in heels, was an opportunity for me to go deep, recognize my soul calling and begin to consciously transform myself to the writer , now, published  Author and Inspiration Coach that I deeply yearned to be.
