There is more than one way to get what you want and why not make it a happier form of attracting our dreams and desires ?

The ego is malleable where it tends to waver to the external. i.e. What we see, feel and hear is what the ego absorbs. Unfortunately, the external contains 90% negative happening in the world. It is our job to sift and retain only the positive. However, the ego focuses more on what we don’t want versus what we want.

Shifting to what one wants, can work with practice on a regular basis, this is where the mindset work starts. In addition, our subconscious is the habit-forming system formed from our formative years. Often the majority of us are operating from this belief system automatically. When operating with a faulty belief system, in general, may manifest around self- worth, confidence and or old negative programming, such as, doubt, not feeling enough. The symptom can present itself as a stuck mindset.

No one is perfect or immune, yet to clear the automation of what’s not working permanently, is by unblocking blocks that are deep within the unconscious. This is the WHY that has led to a faulty automation system around relationships, money, love, and success. Therefore, you must become clear on what you want. Get technicolor on your vision. Order up exactly what you want the Universe to deliver, otherwise known as manifesting.

Do you want a new job? Are you ready to meet your soulmate? Perhaps you want financial abundance? There is a powerful way you can practice to shift your subconscious into believing you have whatever it is you want and no, it is NOT about positive affirmations. Although affirmations can help you stay on track, especially when chaos or turmoil has taken place in your personal world and environment. The process is known as “Nevellizing”, coined from the famous mystical writer, Goddard Neville. He believed that you focus on the outcome and imagine what it would be like to have that result in your life, right now.

This is not about just focusing on a goal but actually involves feeling the emotion related to the goal by emerging your mind with the details and how it feels. Imagine what will change in your life. For example, imagine a new home and what it feels like to drive up to your new home. Or let’s say you want to attract $50,000 in the next 6 months. When you sit and imagine what your life will be like, focus on the details. What bills will you get to pay? Physically feel the idea of sitting at your desk writing checks and placing stamps on those bills. Are you smiling and feeling fulfilled? Allow those feelings to consume you.

Your subconscious mind cannot distinguish between what is real or imaginative. You can determine this based on how your body responds to a really scary movie, your adrenaline goes up and responds to a flight or fight response to a physical danger, even though your conscious mind knows it’s a movie. Just as your subconscious mind responds to fear it also responds to good events as well. The key is you must believe it into existence with absolution. When you feel it, feel it’s inevitable, that is when the magic occurs. People and events and details and opportunities will pop up, almost out of nowhere. Keep in mind it’s up to you when a source is attracted to you, it’s your choice to act upon it or not. You may be skeptical and that’s ok, however, this technique happens all the time. For example, imagine you decide you want a new white Subaru. Then all you seem to notice around town, on the freeways, in parking lots are white Subaru’s. This is no coincidence, your mind decided to sift and seek out and those things that became important moved to the top of the list in your mind.

Howard Shultz, founder of Starbucks, imagined a coffee shop where people sat around and sipped a $4 cup of coffee. At the time Starbucks nixed this idea and continued to sell coffee beans, coffee makers and filters but not cups of coffee. He moved on as their marketing director and started his own vision of this. Later he bought out the original Starbucks and today it’s a multi-billion dollar company. He focused on his vision and his dream and when obstacles appeared, new doors of opportunity opened.

Although turmoil and grey clouds may hover in your life, this too shall pass. In fact, it’s the best time to determine what you really want? Go deep, get detailed, cut out photos and feeling words as a vision map. The act of creating and imagining is no joke. It’s how electricity was invented and the cell phone, among others. Good things, stemmed from someone’s imagination and growth mindset. Why not make it yours and act upon those happy visions!

A life best lived is a life by design. When you start giving your life dimension, color, objectives, purpose and strategies the results can be absolutely epic. Several years ago I walked away from a six-figure career to save my own life. The work schedule and goals in my corporate career was literally killing me. Between no sleep, driving or flying constantly, never home to enjoy family or community events, working 60 -hour workweeks and meeting huge million dollar goals quarterly. One fateful day when my company car malfunctioned on the freeway in LA, with no power steering or brakes, life was literally falling apart in seconds. It was this life altering experience that everything came into focus. I call this my rude-awakening. To recognize how powerful your happiness can be, we simply need to adopt a new mindset by activating the following steps:

Follow Your JOY – It may not feel like it, but your joy exists within you and it is a clear path to what your heart truly desires. When you are listening and acting upon your joy, your ego does not communicate “I can’t, shoulda, woulda,” thoughts and destructive self-talk excuses behind your feelings of unworthiness. These feelings become non-existent when you place zero energy behind your ego thoughts. When you “Just Own Yourself (JOY),” you become the CEO of YOU and fall in love with expressing your MOXIE.

Ignite Imagination – Give yourself permission to imagine what your life looks and feels like beyond what it is now. It’s ok — even great — to daydream. Just BE and ALLOW yourself to have some fun with your own psyche. By doing so, you unlock the keys to the treasure within and let go of any obstacles standing in your way. Imagine the emotional or physical pain you have been suffering with is now part of your past, and no longer exists. Even if this is just a brief respite that lasts a few minutes, it is a relief to your mind and body that you can feel good and pain free, one step at a time. You are being guided by your imagination when you begin to feel and recognize the endless possibilities within and around your world.

Deliberate Creation – This is the conscious, intentional focus of marrying your desired intention with vision, and strategically acting in your external world where you co-create with Spirit to manifest an outcome. As you collaborate with your inner creator by putting action behind positive intent and matching your positive feeling with positive action, you become an unstoppable magnet for the continuous flow of positive change.

Creativity: is a component of the life force for all that we do. Your ability to create remains infinite through choice. From the moment you rise in the morning, you create your thoughts, your day, how you present yourself to the world and the quality of your life. Decision making is the number-one trait that supports being the champion of your life. When you choose to tap into the positive life forces within, you intensify your vibration and become a force of power beyond your imagination.

Have a Cup of Courage – Your dream is usually outside of your comfort zone. It takes courage to walk a new path you have not navigated before. Have a cup of courage a day. Sip-by-sip, your vision is sharper and your dream becomes attainable. Courage is a more productive avenue when you reverse the energies of your fear.

Practice a Growth Mindset – This is the ability to deliberately change an old perspective with a new, positive action. Action creates change, movement creates truth. Choosing happiness every day in today’s complex world is not just a choice; it’s a lifestyle. By re- training the brain, you can develop this new power practice. Decades of research relate the choice toward happiness to improving your health, increasing blood flow to the brain, and encouraging an enhanced ability to make decisions. When your mind and body feel good, you become spiritually in sync with your divine purpose, and your life becomes more meaningful and authentic.

Employ Creative Tools – These tools become the catalyst for making change here and now. Many people believe that change occurs with our thoughts alone. However, change may not happen even after years of psychotherapy and insightful epiphanies — although you may end up with more clarity and focus about where you are today in relation to your past. What encourages change, here and now, are tools that propel you into your future rather than analyze your past. A tool may be meditation, hiring a coach or researching a topic that piques your interest.

Reinvent an Authentic Self – The path to reinvention is a straight one from head to heart although it may be long and arduous. As you become your ultimate other or higher self, the spiritual spark that keeps you on track with your life’s purpose and in touch with your joy and passion – listening to our truth while simultaneously acting upon it may seem like peeling an onion while holding back the tears. Saying good-bye to your ego is a process of letting go of superficial attachments or illusions. Most will only dig when they know there is pure gold; you must be willing to do the work since that gold lies within your heart. Through thoughtful diligence, you can then continue on the route to happiness because the gold has revealed your authentic power. When we live in our truth, we can change the world in fascinating and magnanimous ways.

Stress is very common in today’s busy world. Between long to-do lists, managing daily expenses and juggling multiple roles we play in our lives, it is no surprise that stress consumes Americans.

In addition to traversing a turbulent year of fires, hurricanes and governmental chaos, which now leads us to the holiday season? Sigh…

According to the 2017 Stress in America survey, nearly two-thirds of Americans (63 percent) say the future of the nation is a very or somewhat significant source of stress, slightly more than perennial stressors like money (62 percent) and work (61 percent), according to the American Psychological Association’s report, “Stress in America™: The State of Our Nation.”

Clearly, the unprecedented occurrences that have taken place over this year has erupted several social, economic, health and sustainability issues threatening the health and well-being of our nation. Fifty-nine percent of Americans feel we have reached the lowest point in U.S history, spanning every generation, including those who have lived through WW II, the Vietnam War, the Cuban missile crisis and September 11 terrorist attacks.

  • Most adults do not believe they’re doing a good job managing the demands of life. The good news is that stress and anxiety are highly manageable; however, there are several myths related to stress as well as realistic de-stressors. By proactively managing your stress and dealing with anxiety, you can begin to intentionally create meaning and pleasure in your life and work toward a lifestyle that has you feeling excited about the holidays and New Year to come!

Take note to common myths and de-stressors to improve well-being.

  • Don’t wait for a rare opportunity to meet with friends once a year.
  • Do create more realistic ways in which to spend quality time with friends more often.
  • Don’t buy a gift to fulfill an expectation.
  • Do buy or create a personal memento that depicts meaning, purpose and pleasure.
  • Don’t forfeit your vacation days until the end of the year.
  • Do schedule vacations and commit to taking all of your vacation days to rest and enjoy life outside of your job throughout the year.
  • Don’t linger in old patterns that stunt your potential.
  • Do choose to focus on what brings you closer to your desires by going beyond your comfort zone and try something new.
  • Don’t use holiday food and alcohol as an excuse to cope with your anxiety and stress.
  • Do exercise 30 minutes a day to reduce stress. Exercising 30 minutes a day actually decreases your age by 2.8 years.
  • Don’t focus negative energy toward what is not working in your life.
  • Do practice what you have gratitude for and write it in a journal nightly. Those who keep a gratitude journal have been reported to be healthier.
  • Don’t put off your dreams any longer.
  • Do take time each day to accomplish a task that brings you closer to your life’s dream.
  • Don’t ignore what your body is telling you.
  • Do get a good night’s rest, every night.
  • Don’t wait to buy gifts and rush to accomplish holiday tasks at the last minute.
  • Do get organized and start holiday tasks and purchases, by a specific date, to avoid holiday traffic and the mad rush.
  • Don’t think you must fight stress.
  • Do think of healing as the answer.
  • Don’t feel you need to isolate yourself when holiday blues occur.
  • Do surround yourself with people who lift you up, as community is the key to improving one’s well-being.
  • Don’t consume more than an hour of news media.
  • Do write five things you are grateful for in a journal each night. Studies have shown those with a gratitude journal tend to live longer, healthier lives.
  • We have the capacity to re-train our brains by changing the energy we create within ourselves. Through the struggles of storms, fires, diversity and negative media, it is the collective truth and spirit that can change the world!

The main ingredient to a successful and fulfilled life is gratitude.
While during chaotic and troubling economic times, gratitude may seem elusive and most people often forget to practice the fact that usually what we need , we already have and for that we should be thankful everyday.
The easiest ways to make your blessings count is to count your blessings Acknowledge what is good in your life. Once you begin to do so, you will feel how powerful gratitude can be, in fact it makes what you appreciate stronger.
In the haste of our busy lives, we overlook the simple laws of gratitude, so here is a quick refresher.
1. Gratitude is all – inclusive – Good days give you happiness, bad days give you wisdom. Both are essential to growing and evolving.
Both the fortunate an unfortunate occurrences in your life leads to gratitude. You would not be the person you are today, which has contributed to the advancement of your life, by practicing gratitude.
There are no coincidences in life, the ordinary people you have met have taught you something in your life. Everything that takes place in your life everyday, take notice, it forms a new kind of perspective that may not have been there previously.

2. The tribute to the ones you lost is not grief but gratitude – Sometimes the greatest gift imaginable is the one that did not last forever. Be thankful your paths crossed and had the chance to create the most wonderful moments of your life.

3. Being present, is being grateful– everyday you wake up and take a breathe is a moment of life that leads to another moment of your life. Take solace in the privilege of walking this earth, the beauty of nature and wondrous miracles speaking to you by choosing to be present.

4. Gratitude includes giving back – Think about how much more we receive everyday then we give. The moments where a stranger let’s you go ahead of them in line at the grocery store, a friend buys you lunch or a cup of coffee for no reason other than enjoying your presence, a professional goes above and beyond to form a solution, just simply by listening and helping with his/her wisdom and knowledge.
It is in the giving and the gratitude of receiving that makes life rich.

5. Live and DO Gratitude – those who journal 5 things a day that brings them gratitude have been studied, in over a decade of scientific research, to be happier people. When you think, speak and act in gratitude, this is what brings more meaning and positivity into your life, according to Psychology Today.

When you are feeling sad, anxious, depressed or lonely, change your attitude to gratitude. Your blessings may be far greater than your perceived misfortunes. Try it!

Whether you are a high achiever or have an intense work schedule, the fastest way to stress is trying to do it all by yourself. However, highly productive professionals have mastered time management. So if you want to learn from top athletes, straight A students and over 200 entrepreneurs and other billionaires as to what they do differently here are a few tips:



  1. Focus on Minutes: of the 1440 minutes in a day, use them wisely and with intention.
  2. Set Daily priorities: The task that is the most important or hardest is the one you should work on every morning for 2 hours.
  3. Do away with your TO DO LIST: place ALL activities, including your workout time, in your calendar.
  4. Beat Procrastination: Imagine your future self has already done the task, and get it done NOW, so your future self will have time to do the things she really wants to do.
  5. Eat Dinner: Being home for dinner by  time- blocking your priorities throughout the day ,will have you home and feeling guilt free.
  6. Utilize a Notebook: Capture everything including your ideas in a notebook, this way you keep your mind clear. By decluttering your brain you intuitively organize your thoughts which encourages goal achievement.
  7. Only check email 2x a day, 3 at most: Look at emails once in the morning, respond, then afternoon emails and social media in the afternoon. This way your flow is not interrupted.
  8. Avoid Meetings: try to have short meetings at all costs, if at all.
  9. Say NO: what you would normally say yes to, start saying NO, unless it is part of your goals.
  10. Follow the 80/20 Rule: Spend 80% of your time on the top 20% that produces outcomes. Find that 20%.
  11. Delegate or Outsource: the majority of your time should be spent on what you are good at. The rest should be outsourced or delegated to. For example, if you are the boss or CEO, focus more ON your business not IN your business. Systems and process can be handled by parties whose time is dedicated to those tasks.
  12. Work Theme Days: schedule certain days of the week for major areas and work tasks around those days.
  13. Touch Things only Once: if something will take less than 10 minutes, do it immediately, so it is complete.
  14. A Morning Ritual: From Tony Robbins to Oprah, a morning ritual sets the tone for your day. Set aside an hour each morning for mental, physical and spiritual health. Journaling and gratitude are also important for improving happiness.
  15. Focus on energy, not time: Maximize your energy throughout the day and take breaks in between. Get lots of sleep, eat well and exercise, this improves sharpness and productivity.

I highly recommend a gratitude, happiness and goal setting journal. Most successful people spend 15 minutes a day journaling, it is the number one method to overcoming obstacles.

In all honesty, how many times have our friends brought joy in our lives?

People tend to forget about this one, but it’s true, getting some fresh air can lift your spirits.

Sunlight and fresh air help you get your daily dosage of vitamin D which is needed to regulate your mood.

I read an article the other day, that one of the reasons why American’s are unhappy, is because we feel confined in our choices. Stress often leads to feeling confined and boxed in where our personality can lean toward old habits, default modes and the good ole comfort zone. Resulting in a feeling of “stuck” in our jobs, finances, health and community.

Allow me to give you the crayon within your mind to color outside the lines and throw out the “confining” box! It’s time for you to play, imagine, feel good and think positive! Truly it is your time to shine. So here are a few ways to do that…

– Give yourself permission with knowing you deserve happiness and get to choose it when ever you want!

– Give yourself permission, to dance, laugh, get the blood flowing in your veins and just ALLOW.

– Give yourself permission to wear whatever you want or even nothing at all, oops. Point being, get comfortable in your own skin, take a bubble bath, relax and get in the water, it washes away the cobwebs of the mind and cleanses the old for the new to come in.

– Give yourself permission to visualize what your heart desires. Imagine it happening, right now, close your eyes and see this happy event taking place in your life. Yes, YOU! It can happen for you. So many people believe good only happens to others but not them. Guess what, you’re up, it’s your turn this time for good and great things to take form and happen. You are more than you ever imagined!! Just give yourself permission, it works!

– Give yourself permission to just stop. Stop the old thinking and self- doubt. This dampens your spirit. We need your spirit, your spirit is here to help others with your talent and your gifts. Don’t deny yourself or others of what you have to offer because when you do, it smothers your joy. Change things up and go IN- JOY!

The world is very abundant and the more you realize this the more you will attract what is available to you. The trick starts with your mindset. Why is that? Well, how do you get results? You do the work. You can’t do the work without having the knowledge. And even with the knowledge it doesn’t matter if you don’t have the skill set. Yet even with the skill set the right mindset is all that matters. Mindset + Skillset + Knowledge + Work = Results. No more. No less.

So before I share the secrets to unlock your abundance, you first must have an idea of what abundance means to you. You may define it as money, love, health, or personal fulfillment. The fact is all of those define abundance. To unlock your personal abundance focus upon the ONE that stands out to you the most.

Secret Number One: Your subconscious mind is what holds the key to your abundance. This is where your emotions live in the now. Your emotions may be hindered or blocked by the seven year old kid in you and are living with an old recording from years past. Perhaps you have a belief system where you have to prove yourself in order to make a good income. Or you have blocked love from your life unconsciously, based on a past hurt. The first mindshift to uncover your blocks is to learn to feel limitless. This is how you retrain the subconscious to reach success.

Secret Number Two: Get out of routine living. Routine living limits you holistically. Making small changes in your daily routine expands your mind and your body to feel new sensations and experience life beyond your four corners. If abundance is not in your four corners then it is time for change; start with a different walk or drive to work. Perhaps take a new yoga class and refrain from technology until after you have had breakfast versus as soon as you wake up. Again those actions encourage feeling limitless and forms new positive habits.

Secret Number Three: To retrain the subconscious mind it all ends and begins with images. Our subconscious mind is like a camera, it takes on visuals that encourage feelings that become ingrained into a want or need. Advertisers have mastered the art of images and know how to push the subconscious buttons. You too can master this toward creating the abundance you desire through images. Let’s say you want more prosperity as your goal. Gather images that have meaning to you and instill the feeling of prosperity. Place those images on your nightstand, your desk, your fridge, and your walls. Look at them often and especially at night before you go to bed. At night is when the subconscious goes to work for you and creates new neural pathways based on the images and feelings you have consumed.

If there is one thing we can’t get back, it’s time! Which is why the best time to make a positive change toward designing a life plan is now.

What is your ideal life? Then ask yourself why? When you know your why you are in touch with your core values and this is what places action behind your desires. 

How do you want to spend your days?

What is your zone of genius? 

Recognize that life does not happen to us, it happens for us. Therefore, it is an opportunity to make clear and decisive choices. You may not believe this to be true, however; I am here to prove to you how you make an impact in this world in the most profound yet natural manner of just being you. How? It’s called the power lead. The power lead is a positive opening that you often hear as an introduction to a speech, TV show, news heading. You get the idea.  

The more positive your power lead, the more ability you have to determine the outcome you intend. In today’s world, the negative surrounds us. So, a positive power lead is the reverse of what you might expect. Such as: With all this rain I find it so cleansing and refreshing don’t you? Or there is no other way to go, but up! 

When you think and lead in the positive, you are actually locking in a positive outcome.  

A client, Tracy, recently shared with me how she failed the mortgage exam twice and only had one more chance left to pass. She was so upset that she was laid off from her corporate job and looking for a new one the past six months and decided to switch gears, at age 60 and go into the mortgage industry. 

Her life plan was to no longer work in an office and have the freedom to work from home and stay in her dream location with the love of her life. We focused on locking in her positive outcome and put a date to her outcome. The process reversed her “stinkin thinkin” and she was able to pass the mortgage exam and celebrate her new life plan.
